Looking to Resurface Your Skin?
Are you wanting to remove deep acne scarring, but not sure how to go about it? You've wanted to try a chemical peel, but you're a bit apprehensive? Looking for a more natural approach to correcting your skin? Here is another option for you!
One of the main reasons as to why this peel has been popular is that it can target a multitude of skin concerns per treatment.
Acne or related breakouts
Pigmentation, uneven skin tone, sun spots and dullness
Circulation, thereby increasing cell turnover
I am using a natural powder as an effective way of skin resurfacing and providing a natural alternative approach to microdermabrasion, chemical peels (glycolic acid, Jessner's, phenol and trichloroacetic acid peels), CO2 laser resurfacing and Erbium laser peels to correct visual facial defects such as hyperpigmentation of various conditions, fine wrinkles, sun damage, and superficial scars, comedones, enlarged pores and facial rejuvenation.
Upon massaging the natural powder into the skin, spicules penetrate the skin creating microscopical injuries to the epidermis. This will activate a wound healing response, which will activate an increased blood flow to the wound. Increased blood flow helps to dissolve spots, stimulating new cell growth, elastin, and collagen production thus improving skin tone and texture. In addition, spicules that penetrate the skin aid in the delivery of bioactive compounds to the dermis. Spicules also open the pores and prevent future formation of comedones.
This peel can be used to rejuvenate the skin, to remove old or dead cells from the skin’s outer layer without harming the young and living cells. It can be used as a natural treatment for acne scars. As a result, it will resurface the skin creating smoother and softer skin. 100% natural and gentle enough on the skin not to cause burns or other serious damage.
Depending on the depth of the scars, 2 - 3 treatments are recommended approximately 4 weeks apart.
Post Green Peel:
As the first two layers of your skin have been removed, special care needs to be taken to remain out the the sun and use a high SPF.
A home care kit is recommended for use after the peel.
Avoid using products that further exfoliate your skin after this procedure, which can cause over exfoliation.
A natural peel can cause peeling skin - however it does not affect the overall results of the peel - should your skin not peel.
A trained professional beauty therapist needs to perform this procedure with the correct products.
It cannot be performed on people with grass allergies
Only a certain section of the body can be treated at a time - due to the over stimulation of the skin - you cannot treat a larger surface area for example: face and neck.
